Sharlene Llanes, MD has dedicated 20 years to practicing pediatric and adult asthma, allergies, and immunology in the South Florida community. As a senior medical specialist, she has consistently delivered personalized and effective care to families and individual patients, addressing both common and rare allergic conditions such as asthma, eczema, allergic rhinitis, and food allergies.

Driven by a passion for identifying, managing, and treating patients—especially children with atopic dermatitis and related comorbidities like food allergies, rhinitis, and asthma—Dr. Llanes brings empathy to her practice. Her motivation to become an allergist originated from her son's severe eczema during infancy, which fuels her compassionate approach to care and treatment.

Dr. Llanes has been board-certified in Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology since completing her Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She undertook her Pediatric residency training at Nassau University Medical Center in New York and is also a board-certified pediatrician. An active member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the Florida Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society, she remains engaged in her professional community.
