Bio

Dr. Sharlene Llanes has been in the practice of pediatric and adult asthma, allergies, and immunology for 17 years in the South Florida community before joining Allervie in July.  As a senior medical specialist, she has provided personalized and effective care for whole families and individual patients with rare and common allergic conditions such as asthma, eczema, allergic rhinitis, and food allergies.  

Dr. Llanes has maintained board certification in Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology since completing her Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed Pediatric residency training in New York at the Nassau University Medical Center and practiced as a board-certified pediatrician for five years.  

She is an active member of the American College of Allergy and Asthma and Immunology and the Florida Allergy Asthma and Immunology Society.  

Dr. Llanes has received many recommendations and positive reviews for her clinical practice. She cares deeply for her patients and works hard to improve their conditions. She has been featured on television newscasts as a recognized voice in caring for patients with asthma and allergic conditions.  Her special interest is in treating eczema, allergic rhinitis, and asthma.  

Dr. Llanes spends most of her spare time tending to her orchid collection, Zumba, and traveling.
