Bio

William Bradford Fancher, MD, is a board-certified allergist and immunologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients of all ages with allergic and immunologic conditions. He treats the full spectrum of allergic diseases, including asthma and related conditions, and emphasizes personalized care plans that address each patient’s unique clinical needs. 

Dr. Fancher earned his Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his pediatrics residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He went on to complete his Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at UAB, where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and management of complex allergic and immunologic disorders. He is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology and Pediatrics, allowing him to provide continuity of care for both pediatric and adult patients.  

In addition to clinical care, Dr. Fancher has a strong academic and research background with particular interests in asthma and biologic therapies. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national allergy and immunology conferences. Dr. Fancher values patient education and shared decision-making, taking time to ensure patients understand their conditions, testing requirements, and treatment options. He currently sees patients at AllerVie Health’s Hoover location.
