Bio

Emily Robbins, DO is an allergy and immunology specialist dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, where she trained in diverse clinical environments, including Stroger Hospital in Chicago. She went on to complete her pediatric residency at Staten Island University Hospital, part of Northwell Health, where she developed a strong foundation in caring for children with complex medical needs.

Dr. Robbins then pursued advanced fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at the prestigious National Institutes of Health (NIH) within the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID). During her fellowship, she conducted groundbreaking research on the neonatal microbiome and its role in predicting allergic diseases, with a particular focus on the development and prevention of food allergies. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national conferences, and supported through a grant from the National Eczema Association.

In clinical practice, Dr. Robbins provides comprehensive care for conditions such as food allergies, asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, hives, and other allergic and immunologic disorders. She is passionate about helping patients not only manage their symptoms but also improve their quality of life through personalized treatment plans. With board certification in pediatrics and specialty training in allergy and immunology, she is dedicated to enhancing patient care by integrating the latest research with a compassionate, family-centered approach.

A native of Oak Park, Illinois, Dr. Robbins is excited to return to the western suburbs of Chicago. She lives with her husband, young son, and their golden retriever, Indy. In her free time, she enjoys family walks, exploring new restaurants and cafés, cooking, and seeking out the best desserts in the city, whether it’s cookies, cake, or ice cream.
