At AllerVie Health, we pride ourselves on the expertise and dedication of our team. Today, we'd like to introduce you to one of our distinguished providers, Dr. Bernard Zeffren, who has been offering exceptional allergy and immunology care to the Central Florida community for over 25 years.

Dr. Zeffren brings his wealth of knowledge and personalized approach to patient care at our Ormond Beach location. His journey in medicine began at Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated with honors. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, distinguishing himself as a member of the AΩA Medical Academic Honor Society.

Following his academic pursuits, Dr. Zeffren honed his clinical skills during his Pediatric Residency at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital/St. Louis University. Further, he completed a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at All Children's Hospital/University of South Florida.

Dr. Zeffren's commitment to his field extends beyond his practice. He is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), the Florida Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society (FAAIS), and the Physicians Society of Central Florida. His leadership within the FAAIS is noteworthy, having served as President and on the Executive Board, and he currently serves as a Committee Chair.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Zeffren enjoys a rich family life, having been married for 29 years and raising three wonderful children. He is a sports enthusiast, enjoying tennis, golf, and is an avid hockey fan.
