Bio

Ayesha Siddiqi, MD, is an experienced and highly regarded allergist with over 25 years of expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of allergic and immunologic disorders. Dr. Siddiqi has provided specialized care for patients with conditions such as allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, asthma, chronic cough, chronic urticaria, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, and more.

Dr. Siddiqi began her career in allergy and immunology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, where she served as an Instructor in the Department of Allergy and Immunology. In addition to her clinical work, she has held the position of Section Chief of Allergy & Immunology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital since 1998, where she has contributed significantly to the department's development and mentored numerous medical professionals.

A graduate of the University of Jos in Nigeria, Dr. Siddiqi completed her residency in Pediatrics at Jos University Teaching Hospital before pursuing a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. She is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology and has been recertified multiple times, demonstrating her commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in the field. Dr. Siddiqi has also been recognized for her research, having received the Innovative Investigators Award in 1995 for her work on the release of chemokines from RSV-activated bronchial epithelial cells.

Throughout her career, Dr. Siddiqi has been an active member of several professional organizations, including the Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Her extensive training, leadership roles, and dedication to patient care have earned her a respected reputation in the field of allergy and immunology.
