Bio

Amy L. Johnson, PA-C, brings decades of clinical experience and heartfelt dedication to her role in allergy and immunology. Her career began in the U.S. Territory of Guam, where she served as a physician assistant while her husband was stationed there as a Naval officer. Since returning to Colorado in 1999, Amy has worked extensively in family practice and, more recently, in allergy and immunology, where she has found a rewarding niche in helping patients navigate complex allergic conditions. With degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder (BA in Psychology, with Distinction) and Emory University School of Medicine (Master of Medical Science with Honors), Amy blends a strong academic foundation with an unwavering passion for patient-centered care. She believes in forming lasting relationships with her patients, listening closely to their concerns, and creating personalized care plans that empower individuals to thrive.

Amy’s commitment to education and collaboration shines through in her clinical focus areas, which include delabeling penicillin allergies, creating personalized asthma action plans, and conducting food challenges that significantly improve patients’ quality of life. Her goal is to equip each patient with the knowledge and tools they need to live their healthiest lives with confidence and clarity. Outside of medicine, Amy enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband of 28 years and their three adult children. She is also an active member of her church and a lifelong learner who stays current with the latest medical advancements through continued education and professional conferences. Her compassionate approach and clinical expertise make her a trusted and valued partner in every patient’s health journey.
