Bio

Megan Bankert, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across all ages. She joins Premier Allergist clinics in Maryland. Nearly a decade of clinical experience in acute care settings, where she managed a wide range of urgent health needs, from respiratory infections to musculoskeletal injuries, has honed her ability to diagnose, treat, and connect with patients quickly and compassionately. Megan's skill in performing various in-office procedures ensures patients receive timely, efficient care, enhancing their overall healthcare experience.

With her strong educational foundation, holding a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hill University and a Bachelor of Science from West Virginia Wesleyan College, Megan is committed to ongoing professional excellence. Her certification in advanced cardiac, pediatric, and basic life support reflects her dedication to the highest patient safety and care standards. Megan’s transition to allergy and immunology care demonstrates her passion for building lasting relationships with patients, helping them find long-term relief, and empowering them to live healthier lives.

Outside of her professional role, Megan is a proud mother to three young children: her son, Logan, and twin daughters, Paige and Parker.  Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Megan remains a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan, creating a fun "house divided" dynamic with her husband, a Baltimore Ravens supporter. In her free time, Megan enjoys reading, building Lego sets with her son, completing jigsaw puzzles, and attending the much-anticipated Ravens vs. Steelers games each season with her family.
