Effective March 31 – Chelsea/Greystone Closing
To ensure the best provider and staffing coverage, we have made the difficult decision to close our Chelsea/Greystone clinic and bring staff back to our Hoover and Homewood clinics, effective March 31, 2023. It’s our mission to do what is best for our patients, staff, and communities. That’s why we believe that our ability to staff and serve patients well hinges upon reducing our clinic footprint and optimizing our provider resources across our four clinics in Homewood, Hoover, Cullman, and Oxford.

Effective Feb. 20 – Allergy Injections Now Walk-in Only
Starting Monday, February 20, 2023, all allergy injections will be provided on a walk-in basis. You will no longer need to schedule an appointment in advance to receive your allergy injections, giving you the freedom and flexibility to continue your routine allergy care and maintenance in your own time! AllerVie Health – Chelsea, Alabama provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatments for allergy, asthma and related immunological disorders for adults and children.
Our patients in Chelsea enjoy the small town atmosphere and local festivals. Getting out and about if you suffer from allergies or asthma can be difficult in this mild climate. We are proud to offer specialized treatment for pollen allergies, mold allergies and adult asthma and pediatric asthma.
Our board-certified allergy specialist, Dr. Weily Soong, MD also serves as Chief Medical Officer for AllerVie Clinical Research. Dr. Soong completed his Internal Medicine residency and Allergy and Clinical Immunology Fellowship training at Yale University where he did research on the development of pediatric asthma.
Dr. Soong provides adult allergy treatment as well as pediatric allergy treatment services at our allergy treatment center in Chelsea. Dr. Soong is a Birmingham native and believes patients should always be treated with kindness, compassion, and respect.
AllerVie Health – Chelsea is conveniently located just southwest of the intersection of US Hwy 280 and Cahaba Valley Rd. (Hwy 119).
