Dr. Robert McDermott is a board-certified allergist and immunologist and the founder of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology of the Rockies, P.C., which has served communities throughout Colorado since 2008. A lifelong Colorado native, Dr. McDermott brings deep local understanding to his practice, offering expert, personalized care at multiple locations in Colorado. He earned his medical degree and completed both his internal medicine residency and allergy/immunology fellowship at the University of Colorado and National Jewish Health, institutions renowned for excellence in respiratory and immunologic medicine. His extensive training and decades of experience allow him to deliver patient-centered care rooted in precision, compassion, and a thorough understanding of environmental and lifestyle factors that contribute to allergic conditions.

Dr. McDermott’s approach is defined by his belief that every patient deserves tailored treatment. He carefully reviews each patient's history and asks thoughtful, in-depth questions to guide accurate diagnosis and build effective, individualized treatment plans. His leadership in allergy care is matched by his active participation in professional and community organizations, including the American Academy and College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and local medical and civic groups.
