Bio

Dr. Emily Robbins is a board-certified allergy and immunology specialist with a genuine passion for helping patients, especially kids, feel better and get back to living their lives. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from A.T. Still University in Arizona, training across diverse clinical settings, including Stroger Hospital in Chicago, before completing her pediatric residency at Staten Island University Hospital within the Northwell Health system.

Her path then led to one of medicine's most respected institutions: a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), within the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID). There, she conducted research on the neonatal microbiome and its connection to allergic disease development, with a particular focus on food allergy prevention. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national conferences, and recognized with a grant from the National Eczema Association.

In practice, Dr. Robbins treats the full spectrum of allergic conditions - food allergies, asthma, eczema, allergic rhinitis, hives, and more. She's known for taking the time to truly understand each patient's situation, then building a care plan that's both evidence-based and actually workable for their everyday life. Her dual training in pediatrics and allergy and immunology means she brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to every visit, particularly for families navigating a new diagnosis.

A Chicago-area native, Dr. Robbins is thrilled to be back in the western suburbs. At home, she keeps busy with her husband, young son, and their golden retriever, Indy. When she's not in the clinic, you'll likely find her on a family walk, hunting down the city's best dessert, or testing a new recipe in the kitchen.
