Molly Fortner, CRNP
Molly Fortner, CNRP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner, working in collaborative practice with Dr. Wolf. Originally from the Gulf Coast, Molly earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, and Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University.
Molly enjoys working with patients of all ages, however, her passion is working with young children and their families. She was a nurse educator for undergraduate nursing students in the pediatric clinical setting and has used this experience when providing education to patients and their families in the clinic. She desires for all patients to gain a full understanding of their diagnosis in order to gain the confidence needed to appropriately care for his or her condition—many of which must be managed long-term. As a provider, Molly strives to treat patients with the utmost respect. It is important to Molly that her patients are heard and feel comfortable asking questions when they are seen. She desires for patients to become an active part of their treatment decision-making process and work together to tailor a treatment plan that works best for the patient.
Molly enjoys being an active part of the community around her and is involved with the state asthma camps. Outside of work, Molly enjoys exploring the outdoors with her friends. She enjoys the beach, hiking, and competing in triathlons.
