Shannon started her healthcare career in the United States Air force in 1995 as a Cardiopulmonary Technician. She continued her career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist when she completed her enlistment in the Air Force in 1999. Shannon worked as a Respiratory Therapist in various settings until 2009. This experience continues to be an asset to her today working in emergency care, pediatrics, and asthma management. In 2009, Shannon started her career as a Registered nurse in the Coronary Care ICU at Huntsville Hospital until she became a Nurse Practitioner in 2014. Shannon has been in Asthma, Allergy and Immunology since 2014. She has also worked in Madison ER since 2017. Shannon’s favorite specialties are cardiology and pulmonary, where it all began for her. She has learned that one never stops learning and loves the relationship she establishes with the patients. She feels that this relationship is the key to quality health care.
