Bio

Courtney Hendrix, CRNP, is a board certified family nurse practitioner, working in collaborative practice with Dr. Weily Soong. Originally from the North Alabama area, Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She worked at UAB Hospital for 3 years, caring for patients who were recovering from gastrointestinal related surgery. Courtney has lived in Birmingham since 2010 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to joining the team at Alabama Allergy and Asthma, she worked as a Hospitalist CRNP caring for acutely and critically ill adults in Tuscaloosa, AL. Courtney’s passion is getting to know her patients and establishing a trusting relationship. She loves educating patients on their diagnosis and treatment plans so they feel like they are able to manage their care with ease. Anything and everything to make her patients feel comfortable. Outside of work Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband Tony and their daughter as well as traveling, fitness-related activities and going to sporting events. Courtney and her husband are also members of the Church of the Highlands.
