Bio

Christina Mullins Latta, CRNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is in collaborative practice with Dr. Thomas Scott. Prior to joining our team, Christina worked in the NEARMC hospital system in the Emergency Departments in Jacksonville and Anniston, Alabama and was also a clinical instructor for the JSU School of Nursing. She has served with several local non-profit organizations that assist the underserved with medical care, substance abuse recovery, and basic needs. Christina is originally from Miami, Florida but has made Alabama her home since 1991. She graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She is very excited about being able to serve her neighbors and friends in Calhoun County and has a passion for giving her patients the tools and knowledge to prevent poor health outcomes and maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle. Christina and her husband, James, love spending time with their five children on their homestead farm in Calhoun County. In her spare time, she also enjoys arts/crafts, photography, and traveling.
